BizarrelyI received a BT phone book last week (I didn't even know they existed anymore) and on the first two pages was an advert inviting you to get the NHS app, then instructions on how to download 'your free NHS COVID pass'. I didn't think we needed those anymore?

I think that it is obvious, 'our' (on the basis that our taxes pay for it) NHS serves its trust managers and the pharmaceutical companies that those trust managers' primary loyalty is to.

"Our" NHS seems to mainly consist of administrative staff these days. If half the money spent on HR desk jockeys, office managers, practice managers, data managers, xyz managers was spent on good old fashioned doctors and nurses, the NHS wouldn't be in perennial "winter crisis". And would not have needed "protecting" during the covid hysteria.

I worked for a customer recently, both she and her husband are retired NHS management. I said surely the NHS has too many managers, oh no she said, they need more. WTF! She couldn't explain exactly why more managers are needed but she believed it so I left it there. #youcantfixstupid

The NHS has rarely been evidence directed, and always entirely government mandate directed.
