The people of the UK aren't turning their backs on British values - the authorities and ruling quangos are. We, the people, really need to speak loudly and ignore the laws which aren't lawful. We are born free and we live free. Unless we choose to allow the authorities and ruling quangos to tell us how we can live. People who get arrested for being rude on X need to remember that the police, the lawyers, barristers and judges are no better than they are. They need to believe that they cannot be intimidated into pleading guilty over words. We need some of these things to go to court with a jury!
The Differences between the Online/General Freedom of Speech Laws & Regulations of some WESTERN counties & Some Countries in The Middle East are getting less and less.
Speaking of things that have not been "rescinded", last December the EUA status for the injections was extended until 2029. I believe this was done in order to preserve Big Pharma's immunity from prosecution. It is obviously not in the least bit factually based any more than Ofcom's preservation of restrictions. Once again we are shown the power and the danger of lies by omission.
About the UK I have only some reports here and there about its "freedom of speech" concerning covid. About the US however, where I live, I can react. US's VP Vance is criticizing UK's Starmer about speech being squelched? The US, with its long history (dating back at the very least to the labor organizing days) of jailing or killing protestors? Of attacking modern day protestors who are sitting down and unarmed? Of murdering (or supporting the murder of) activists and news reporters here and around the world? Don't these gov't actors get tired of playing the same age-old roles in the same theater-in-the-round, the same TV and newspaper tales? It's a toss-up: If I am going to use the TV for example to watch these stories, do I prefer having another re-run of the same script & program, or should I get a popcorn refill during the show and watch advertisement lies (also free speech) instead? In the US (and elsewhere) the freedom of speech that IS fully supported is lobbying. Money is legally considered speech. That makes bribery (lobbying) free speech. Britain, whatever problems with freedom you are having, good luck. Just please don't aspire to the values of your accuser JD Vance and his gang.

That judgement is appalling.
