What is not mentioned also is the manner of testing used to determine 'Covid infection' and if it was PCR it can only make any sense with the Ct shown for each test which routinely they are not. A PCR is questionable as to any clinical diagnostic value anyway though without a Ct for the actual result it become meaningless.
The book is likely a harrowing report of one dedicated though I suspect very misled individual's experience and without the full details I see it as having no other value beyond the extreme emotional distress it vividly describes. With one major exception - the unwitting testimony of culpable neglect by those responsible medically and in management in supervising the facility which created chronic under staffing, lack of on the spot supervision and who contributed to what can only be described as a deadly environment and a tradgic outcome.
